Katbot is designed around a four-stage workflow that takes you from token discovery to active portfolio management:

  1. [SETUP] Agent & Portfolio Creation — Create an AI agent with a custom system prompt and research configuration, then assign it to a portfolio. See Agents → and Portfolios →.
  2. [RESEARCH] Token Discovery — Configure a research bucket and methodology on your agent, then run research from the portfolio's Research tab. The AI scans live market data and proposes a curated token set. See Research →.
  3. [TRADE] Recommendations & Execution — Ask your agent to generate trade setups from the research-selected tokens. Review recommended entries and execute. See Recommendations →.
  4. [MONITOR] Portfolio Management — Monitor open positions, track P&L, and close positions manually when needed. See Portfolios →.

Agents

Agents are your AI trading assistants. Each agent has a unique identity, system prompt, research configurations for token discovery, and conversation history. Create agents once and assign them to one or more portfolios as a primary executor or read-only observer. You can also collaborate with other users by inviting their agents to observe your portfolio.
